A: The duration of basement renovation projects at RenoBasements can vary significantly based on the scope of the work. For example, projects focused solely on adding bathrooms typically take between 1-2 months. In contrast, comprehensive whole-basement renovations usually require 3-4 months to complete. Various factors can influence these timelines, including the specific requirements of your city or township related to permit inspections, the type of materials you choose, and any unexpected delays. At RenoBasements, we strive to provide a detailed project timeline during our initial consultation to ensure clarity and set realistic expectations for our customers.

A: Yes, you can change a material or design after the initial quote for your basement remodel with RenoBasements. Our flexible approach allows for adjustments, but it's essential to note that such changes should not backtrack the progress of your project. If you still prefer to go ahead with the changes despite the additional time required, a change order will be instituted. This change order will adjust both the cost and the completion time of the project. Importantly, all change orders must be agreed upon by both the homeowner and RenoBasements to ensure clarity and mutual understanding. Our goal is to help you achieve the basement or home renovation of your dreams while maintaining transparency and efficiency throughout the process.
